St. Christopher’s Wardens and Vestry are pleased to announce that the Reverend Brandt Dick has accepted the call to the position of Rector beginning September 6, 2026. Reverend Dick will be joining us from St. James’ Episcopal Church, Greenville, MS, where he has served as Rector since 2014. Reverend Dick has served as Vicar/Hospice Chaplain at St. John’s Church in Aberdeen, MS, and Chaplain/Associate Rector at Trinity Episcopal Church in Natchez, MS.

We hope you will show the Dick family the hospitality that St. Christopher’s parishioners are known for, and warmly welcome them to our community.

Brandt Dick became an Episcopalian after meeting a falling love with his wife, Erica, a cradle Episcopalian. Brandt had previously been a Southern Baptist, albeit a very bad one. He is a much better Episcopalian, which is why within just a few years of being confirmed, he was in discernment to be a priest. Brandt received his M.Div. from Sewanee in 2005 and was a priest in the Diocese of Mississippi for twenty years. Before seminary, Brandt taught chemistry, physics, and calculus at McComb High School. He is a mathematician by training and temperament – chemistry and physics are hobbies. (Yes, he is a bit of a nerd.)

Brandt and Erica have four children. Zachary is married to Anna Gail (this past April) and they live in Knoxville, TN. Lucy, their eldest daughter, is a sophomore at Sewanee. She was adopted from China as a two-year-old. Jacob and Evvie (11 and 9) were adopted after Brandt and Erica fostered them for a couple of years.

Erica has her masters in special education and has taught a number of different classes and grades over the years, most recently fourth grade.

They are excited about the move to Pennsylvania and cannot wait to be with the folks at St. Christopher’s.
