Good Friday Service

Good Friday is a day that says when Jesus dies he is showing us God loves the whole world. He does something hard to show his love for everybody. We call it “good” because we know Easter is coming and Jesus will rise from the dead.

The cross is typically seen as a place to lay your burdens. This year, we invite you to write prayers, sorrows, and things you no longer want to carry on your heart on provided pieces of paper. You may also wish to leave symbols of your burdens that will be collected and disposed of, such as photos or objects. All who desire are invited to remain in church for contemplation or join us for a Labyrinth walk following the service.
