Due to the rise in covid-19 cases, Discipleship will be held via zoom. We will end at 9:40 to allow travel time. It will also be recorded for those who may want to watch it later.
Biblical Fracking:
This course is about examining the Bible in a new way — delving into the silences in scripture and exploring them for spiritual enlightenment.
Frank Wade developed biblical fracking as a Christian approach to scripture derived from the ancient Jewish practice of midrash. In this course, participants will learn how to address questions that scripture doesn’t answer (e.g. what happened to Bartimaeus the blind beggar after Jesus healed him?) in ways that bring us new ideas about how to live our lives.

- Introduction to Biblical Fracking
- Abraham and Sarah
- Bartimaeus
- Nicodemus
This course is ideal for anyone who would like to try exploring scripture in a different way.
