Thanksgiving Turkey Outreach

Turkeys and carvers… come together at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 27th to create Thanksgiving Dinner for the Church of the Advocate’s Community Thanksgiving Festival. In years passed we have served over 200 people Thanksgiving Dinner with all the fixin’s. What a great way to mark the holiday!

If you can bring a cooked turkey, be a carver, or help in the kitchen, please sign up on the Membership Bulletin Board or contact the church office. Please deliver your 18-20 lb bird, roasted and unstuffed to our church kitchen by 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 27th.  Please send along the cooked giblets and broth in a separate disposable container.

Carvers—please remember to bring a carving knife, fork, and a carving board.

Drivers—You are critical to our successful delivery of these meals to the Church of the Advocate.  We will have cardboard to protect your car.
