Blessing of the Animals & Peace Pole

Join us as we bless and dedicate our peace pole. This project was done under the guidance of vestry member, Peg Schofield, and with funding from the Happel, Scurry, Schreiber families. It’s a way for our whole community to use our campus as a place of peace, meditation, and prayer. We will be combining this with our blessing of the animals.

The Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, which is traditionally celebrated on October 4th, is the time of year we bless animals. Bring your pet (cat, dog, turtle, bird, etc.) in cage, container, or on a leash. Stuffed animals and pictures of an animal are also welcome!

This is a short service where all members of the community are welcome.
