Reading the Bible with Others 

What does it mean to read the Bible alongside people who may be different from us? Join us through Pentecost as we explore what the idea of “intersectionality” has to do with reading the Bible. We’ll examine holy scripture from a variety of viewpoints, including children, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, African American women, and indigenous people. Using these perspectives, we will talk about how the Bible challenges us to live in our own contexts. Adult discipleship meets from 9:10 to 9:50 a.m. on Sundays in the library.
