Most recently, Rev. Raining served as an Associate Rector at St. David’s Episcopal Church, in Wayne and prior to that position as an Assistant Priest at Trinity Church in Bethlehem, PA. She holds a B.A. with honors in Religion and Psychology from Moravian College, a Masters of Divinity from Yale and the Institute of Sacred Music, and will graduated from Drew University with a Doctorate in Ministry.

In addition to her educational background, Rev. Raining is an accomplished musician playing piano, classical violin, Celtic fiddle and guitar. She has worked on many levels of Episcopal Church ministry, including serving on several Diocesan and National Church committees as well as engaging in ecumenical and inter-faith efforts. Her passions in ministry include pastoral care, reconciliation, and helping to make Christ’s love known to all. She has many and varied hobbies including yoga, skiing, hiking, gardening and bee-keeping. Rev. Raining is married to Ken Raining, a librarian, and together they are the parents of a young daughter, Delia.
